The dummy's position in relation to the steering wheel and instrument panel after the crash test indicates that the driver's survival space was maintained well.
The frontal airbag and both side airbags inflated for the driver dummy. Smeared greasepaint indicates where the dummy's head hit the side curtain airbag, its fabric cover, and the head restraint during rebound.
Forces on both legs and feet were low, indicating that significant injury was unlikely.

The Infiniti G35 was introduced in the 2003 model year. Beginning with later 2005 models and fully phased in with the 2006 models, design changes were made to the door trim panels, armrests, and side airbags to improve occupant protection in side impact crashes.
