The Infiniti FX was redesigned for the 2009 model year. There were two models, the FX35 (equipped with a V6 engine) and the FX50 (equipped with a V8 engine). The FX was renamed the QX70 beginning with the 2014 model year. Frontal ratings are assigned by the Institute based on a test conducted by Nissan.

On the straightaway, visibility was good on both sides of the road. On curves, visibility was good on both right curves, fair on the sharp left curve and inadequate on the gradual left curve.
The low beams never exceeded glare limits.
