Rating applies to 2025 models

Tested vehicle: 2025 Kia Carnival EX 4-door

The Kia Carnival was introduced in the 2022 model year, replacing the Sedona nameplate in the Kia lineup. Beginning with 2025 models, structural reinforcements were added to the B-pillar, front and rear doors and rear seat railing. Side ratings are assigned by the Institute based on a test of a 2025 Kia Carnival conducted by Hyundai/Kia.
