The Ram 1500 Quad Cab was redesigned for the 2019 model year. The earlier design remained in production for the 2019-20 model years and was called the Ram 1500 Classic Quad Cab. The ratings on this page do not apply to the Classic.

Two side tests of the Ram 1500 Quad Cab were conducted, one by the Institute and the other by Fiat Chrysler. Ratings are based on both tests.
